Need help picking a tire size!!

Postby zbrock11 [OP] » Jun 20 2012, 1:44am

I have a 07 z71 with the 2 inch Rough Country leveling kit with the factory Z71 18s. I'm currently running 275/70-18 Terra Grapplers, and I'm switching to the factory SLT 20's that came on sierras and yukons. I need help picking out a tire size. Should I go with LT275/65R20 or 275/60R20r?
Going with the Terra grapplers.

thanks for any input guys!

Hey man can you post a pic of your truck now. I'm really considering that tire size when it comes time. I would like to see how they look. Also can you get a pic of how much room you have left at the back of the front wheel wells. Thanks.

According to my tire app, your tires now are 33.2 tall and 10.8 wide. If you go with the 60's, you go to 33 tall and 10.8 wide, and the 65's are 34.1 tall and 10.8 wide. If you want taller, you'll have to go with the 65's. If you want close to the same size as you have now, go with the 60's. Hope that helps. I'm going to go with the 60's if I decide to go the 20's route.

I think they look sweet! Just bought a set of 275/65/20 Duratracs for my 08 MAX with a 2.25" level kit on the front. Having them put on this week. Was a little leery about size as well but your post is reassuring. Just wondering if you had to do any trimming or if you've had any rub?

Not bad....good look, and the 275 shouldn't put too much more rolling resistance on the ground like a 285 or 305 would have. Nice choice.
