Id change them to OEM or to a different wheel. I love my aftermartket wheels but as StarsnBars said it doesnt really dont do the truck justice i think you could get something way cooler than whats one it.

Need opinions on these rims

Postby fox4wd1981 » Mar 10 2012, 11:35pm

It definitely would not be my choice of rim for a 4x4. They aren't bad looking, but IMO they don't do justice for the truck.

I think they would stand out more if you reverse the white lettered tires so that the blackwall side is out.

To be honest... not my fav kinda wheel either... but they dont look bad at the same time. Could they be better? sure... could they be worse... sure... Unless you just have the extra or really want a a change I think they look just fine... as well as that truck!

not my cup of tea. then again, i really don't like anything that is chrome.

at the same time, i'm a big time fan of black, steel wheels on trucks, whether they're the D-windows, circles (i.e. Cragar Soft 8s), or even a five star style.

whenever i get my truck and even if they had the Z71 wheels, i'd more than likely sell them and get into some 17" steelies. not that i don't like the Z71 wheels, but it's more that i'd rather have 17s over 18s. just my preference.

Ehhhhh....I'm impartial to them. As someone else said, they look a little better from further away...but I wouldn't spend my money on them.
