33x12.5 R20...NO TRIMMING

New Rims/Tires on Project

Postby bmacdonald64 [OP] » Jan 23 2012, 7:25pm

I just put on my new rims and tires Friday. I'm running 20x9 Ballistic Jester's with a +12 offset wrapped in Federal Couragia MT's. I have a Supreme Suspension 3.5"F and 2"R leveling kit and had to absolutely no trimming at all.

The kit did come with the drop down brackets but when I went to install them they didn't work out. So I left them off and see no reason for them at all.

Look at how many leveling kits don't come with them. And with all the spacers in place everything should maintain factory angels to begin with.

The truck rides fine. I have the old rims and tires in the bed for weight for the winter. I am also going to remove the moldings here shortly too. This will be my 3rd all black vehicle. I blacked out my Trailblazer SS and H2 before this. Plus I just bought the wife a black Z71 Tahoe that I’ll be doing the same thing too. Except with hers, I’m just going to level out the front and have the Z71 rims powder coated black.
