Interesting question. And how difficult to remove when you want them shiny in the spring?

Yup,it just peels off. As long as you don't scuff/sand em before they'll look the same as when you sprayed em.

he said as long as you dont sand them.......yeah they will protect.....youtube some videos.

I just plasti dipped some 20 inch LTZ rims Im gonna put on my truck. Ill throw some pics up once I get the glossifier sprayed on. Seems like its will hold up pretty well. There are some other ideas on dipyourcar.com The owner of the site dipped his whole car.
