recently put new after market rims on my 07 silverado(XD ADDICTS) and now my steering wheel shakes when i stop is it the rims or my brakes? It didnt do it before when i had the factory rims on so it makes me feel like the people who mouted them messed something up, of course they ensure it wasn't them.

i just put some 22in wheels on my 08 Silverado and mine are doing the same thing....still trying to figure what the cause is....please let me know if you ever found out anything..i know this post is kind of old...

had the same problem with moto metals. remove the rear clips off of the back drums. they will be on 2 of the studs. it solved my problem

If the steering wheel shakes, I'd bet they warped the rotors when they put the new rims on.

yeah it does feel like it is coming from the front end. and yes my steering wheel did shake too. I checked everything in the front thinking it had to do with my front brakes or something loose. Turns out it was no more than the retaining clips on the back.
