how to convert single wheel to dually

Single wheel to dually

Postby Tom9845 [OP] » Feb 19 2013, 6:49am

I have a 92' C2500 8lug. It has the 14bolt 10.5'' rearend. I want to convert it to dually just because i think it looks better when the trucks lowered, which mine already is. I have heard that with my rear end all i would need are some wheel spacers and that will give me enough room to mount dually wheels and tires. Is this true and if so what size spacers would i need? but my most important question is how reliable is it? I want to do it right, if there is even a way to do so. thank you

There is a company called Arrowcraft that makes conversion kits, like you are looking for. They sell complete kits to convert to dual wheels, including the fenders.
