You should not lose any mpg with the leveling kit. You may lose a mile or two with a larger size tire. But the ride should stay the same.

I have seen a 2004 1500 with stock 17's, and 285's, sitting on a non-leveled truck with only 1% rubbing. The owner literally cut off a 3/4" corner of the inside wheel well trim, and there was no rubbing.

This is with normal driving condtions however. If you plan on going a little crazy, driving hard, plowing, off-roading, it will rub more, but you could also trim more...or go with the level kit. Using a level kit will not void any warranty either.

If you look in my gallery, you can see my 285's on a leveled 1500.

Treadwright Retreaded Tires

That thread supports Threadwright, only like 2 people seemed to have an issue with them, and only 1person was actually first hand. The other was just pms'ing about the idea of rethreaded tires.

I don't have any first hand experience, but I know plenty of people who have used and love threadwright and their tires. They've been used on and off road with great results. Not to mention I almost bought a set before my old truck died on me. Also, I've seen plenty of new tires that have issues with the thread separating from the tire, and these are NEW tires, not rethreads or recaps.

The largest tire you will be able to fit is a 275 70 17 without a leveling kit. Most have run them with out any rubbing..some say they have a small amount of rubbing. I personally would not do the leveling kit.

RC only has the 2" or a 3.5" for the 2007-Up Trucks.
Are you talking about the 3.5"?
Thanks
