I have an ATEQ VT15 which I purchased from tirerack.com. I have used it without issue on several vehicles (all GM) without issue. Just haven't had the opportunity to try it on another brand yet.

Good luck

There's a simple procedure to reset them. It's even in the owner's manual!

not on 2011 and newer. GM deactivated it so you have to pay the dealer to do it if you dont buy a tool. They gave the biggest BS excuse too. Its possable that if doing the procedure in a parking lot you could get a reading from a different vehicle. Ya if you were letting the air out of the vehicle next to yours. Fing a$$ holes

I just did mine on my 2011 silverado. Pretty easy, just select "Reset TPMS" on my DIC and started at the front drivers wheel. Let the air out for 8 seconds and wait for the horn to chirp. Took about 2 minutes to make my way around teh truck.

My last dealer performed oil change/tire rotation cost $42 and I got a $10 rebate debit card. I only do this every 8000 miles or so. I cannot justify the cost of the calibration unit nor would I ever see a need for it.

For those of you who have a need for this device, good luck.
