Would the tires off stock 2500 rims fit my 1500 rims?

Postby oneillt [OP] » Apr 19 2011, 9:01pm

Ok guys,
Boss has an 02' 2500 'burban (with the 8.1! :D ) and he has theese rims:

I was wondering if the tires that fit those rims will fit on my stock 1500 rims witch are 16", and the tire size from the factory is p26575r16. Are the rims above 16"? Oh, and BTW those aren't the exact tires, that's just a web pic.
Thanks guys, I just don't know squat about tire sizes.

Edit: sorry read the original post too fast and didn't realize it was just tires. Yes they will fit just fine.

Look on the sidewall of the tires you want to use and find the size. I'm thinking the boss' tires will be Lt265/75/r16 E or something like that. Bleep in mind the boss' tires are 10 ply they will be stiffer and handle more weight and also require more air pressure. Your tires are P metric 6 ply. Hope this helps you.. The give away that boss' tire are 10 ply is the 8 lug holes in the rims as opposed to the 6 holes in your stock rims.
