Oh I will keep posting especially if I find the fix. I’m up north right now so I won’t be working on it till after the holiday. So I’ll bet the parking brake is definitely out of adjustment. So when I disassembled the passenger side I slide the parking brake cable out of its assembly. I didn’t make that same mistake when I did the the drivers side. The drivers side I left the cable and spring attached to the bracket and just un did the keeper on the old shoe and put it on the new shoe, then crimped the keeper back together. The passenger side was a pita to get the cable back on, that’s why I did it the other way on the drivers side.

Well got home today and tore it apart again. Found the wheel cylinder on the passenger side wasn’t moving freely. Fixed that and thought that was going to fix it and no go. I’m going to get a different set of shoes I guess. At this point I have no idea. Problem is what shoes do I go with. I thought ac delco would have been good guess I was wrong. So my choices are as follows

Wearever from advance auto locally
Dura junk from auto zone locally which I never go to
Bendix premium
Centric
Wagner but not thermo quiet they are quick stop
Or Bosch

All which are bonded shoes.
