Well let me ask you guys this one last question and I'll leave it alone, how much should I be able to move the cv axles? I'm not impressed with the ones I bought from rock auto bc they had the same amount of play as the old ones if not more. And by play I mean under the truck and push straight up how far should they move? Grab the shaft and turn rotate it back and forth how much should it move?

Every D***e, and every F**d, and even older chevys the front cv axles and axles in general that I've ever dealt with, have never had any noticable by the eye and feel movement except that of which the suspension travel...

It’s not your cvs. We told you that in your other thread. There will be movement.

Front rotor balance

You replaced your old cvs with new cvs for no reason because you thought there was too much movement. I don’t think any of us are going to go crawl under our truck with a run out gauge to see how much movement is there. Rock auto doesn’t generally sell bad parts. The move, it’s what they do.

For some reason you seem fixated on them being the issue. It was a waste of money to replace them in the first place.

Like we told you in your previous thread...

Now, did you fix your worn diff bushing or install a diff drop? Or even remove your leveling kit to see if it goes away? Or try new tires?
