PARKING BRAKE CABLE '94 - Removeable or NON-removable pad?

PARKING BRAKE CABLE '94 - Removeable or NON-removable pad?

Postby chevius [OP] » Nov 21 2020, 9:21pm

Been trying to figure this out for weeks - as well as other parking brake puzzles for my '94 C2500 RWD with 13" Duo-servo brake drums. 155.5 inch wheelbase, extended cab. Semi-Float 14 bolt diff/rear.

ANYONE know what Non-removable Molded Pad Cover AND Removable Rubber Pad Cover means?

is that the rubber casing over top of the cable?
Is it the circular rubber bit on the cable?

WHICH would i want?
How do i deduce what I currently have on truck?

I'M FEELING DUMB!!!!!!!!

FROM ROCK AUTO

Walkers!!!!!!!!
Sure woulda liked to have gotten a reply in last night.
been rushing lately.

YES... it's that in '94 they had two parking brake pedal designs.

SUPER HELPFUL GREATLY appreciated.
1994 C2500 - RWD of course - 350 5.7L V8 Gen 1 i think (engine replaced by previous though struggling to find numbers on it) - 5 speed NV4500 - 155.5 inch wheelbase - extended with 8 foot box - 14 bolt diff cover - 8 bolt wheels - 13" drums - half float i think it is (WILL CLEAN-UP ALL THIS)
