All dash controls working properly, fan,vent direction,etc. When AC is turned on, compressor activates, but air from vents is warm. Ambient temp. is around 75". Low freon?? Truck has 109,000 miles.

Probably a leaking condenser. Its a well documented and common problem on the 14 and 15 trucks. Mine failed at about 96K, just before the warranty ran out.
Its about $1100 if the stealership fixes.it.

Your diagnosis was right, took it to dealer today. Shined flashlight through the grille and could see residue where the leak was. GM has helped cover some trks. in the past. The serv. manager ran my VIN and told me i wasn't covered. I will be calling GM today.

Good luck with the call. Pretty sure they'll tell you the same thing the service manager told you. Or maybe you'll get somebody who is willing to pitch in at least some goodwill. Probably will not cover everything, though.
