This topic is one of the first google search results to appear and is seen by many. I'm simply closing the loop for future reference. Accessing and replacing the blend door actuators with pictures is available in the below link. Hopefully this helps people when this thread is viewed/referenced in the future.

I've used the restart method for the past few months until 2 weeks ago. That's when the driver side blend actuator finally quit. I ordered a replacement from RockAuto and installed it last weekend. It took about 2 hours to replace. Now, I've got a properly functioning HVAC system
