My 2006 GMC Sierra fan has stopped working. It started with not working on 4 & 5. 2 days ago it stopped working completely. Is this a possible easy fix that I can do myself or am I SOL? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a blower resistor issue. It is fixable. There was a recall for 03-07 trucks. 150k or 10 yr. Bulletin No. 10240A and Bulletin No. 11046

its a common failure in any veh.. pretty easy fix... when i did my 03 their was a upgraded kit that i had to cut and splice the new harness in..
