I have an 05 Silverado with manual sliders for the dual climate control. The passenger slider does not work. The passenger vents blow hot air regardless of where the slider is positioned. The driver side works fine. Any suggestions?

Go to a junkyard and grab a "new to you" panel.

Could be the p/side blend door actuator.

Yeah, thats what im thinking it is. I did a little research on here and it looks like replacing it is a pain in the ass. You literally have to take the whole dash apart.

Looks like it ain't cheap, either. Try a relearn first.

(ignore) 1.Clear all DTCs.

2.Place the ignition switch to the OFF position.

(ignore) 3.Install the HVAC actuator.

(ignore) 4.Connect all previously disconnected components.

5.Remove the HVAC/ECAS fuse for a minimum of 10 seconds.

6.Install the HVAC/ECAS fuse.

7.Start the vehicle. Do not adjust any controls until self-calibration is complete.

8.Wait 40 seconds for the HVAC control module to self-calibrate.

(ignore) 9.Verify that no DTCs have set as current DTCs.

are the HVAC fuses on the passenger side panel or under the hood?

Under the hood, I think.

Did not work. I really dont want to have to pull the whole dash apart and buy a new actuator. I think I may just live with it for a bit.
