NNBS Cabin Air Filter

Do we have one?

NNBS Cabin Air Filter

Postby Nightstalker [OP] » Mar 24 2016, 5:10pm

I was looking on Rock Auto this morning ordering some parts, and I came across the "Filters" section. It listed a Cabin Air Filter. I looked in my owner's manual and didn't see anything about it. I own a 2011 Sierra SLT Crew, and was curious if we even have them? Thanks in advance!

They stopped putting air filters in the NNBS trucks. But, the system is still intact. You would have to cut out the slot to put the filter in. Here is a write up on how to do it.

I don't believe so, think they stopped in the early 2000's.. But I'm pretty sure you can add one in pretty easy. I had a thread bookmarked for my NBS and how to do it, and I know there is on the site for NNBS....

Found it.. Cabin Air Filter

I put one in my truck, primarily to help filter the pollen in the spring, made a big difference, and very easy quick install. Probably time for mine to be changed out actually
