ONE DAY OLD AND DRIVER SIDE AC BLOWS FULL HOT

ONE DAY OLD AND DRIVER SIDE AC BLOWS FULL HOT

Postby white-Z71 [OP] » Sep 19 2012, 12:07am

I just traded a 2012 R** 1500 for a 2012 Silverado, picked it up last night this morning driver side ac is stuck on full hot - passenger side is fine. It will go from floor to defrost fine but the driver side is stuck in full hot no matter what mode and temp it is in. Did I make a mistake trading to Chevy and any fix for this can't get to dealer to this weekend.

I don't have an quick fix for ya, but certainly one small issue does not make the new truck a lemon. I am sure it will be fine, and you will be way better off in the long run, than with a D****!

Make sure you're familiar with the controls. Not being a smart a55 here. If the temp is set on AUTO is does some crazy stuff to keep the cab temp where it's set. Just a though.

ONE DAY OLD AND DRIVER SIDE AC BLOWS FULL HOT

Postby Machster69 » Sep 19 2012, 2:57am

The dealer should fix this in a day. The actuator could be stuck from sitting on the lot and not being used?
