Gyeon Q2 Trim Quartz

Gyeon Q2 Trim Quartz

I came across a bottle of this for $28 ($44 retail) so I figured I'd give it a go.

I've used several trim restorers before (even Frog Lube CLP, yeah the gun protectant) but nothing really has really done the trick nor seems to last.

I followed the directions by first prepping with a degreaser and then a good wipedown with 3M adhesive cleaner. Then blasted it with an air hose.
I used the supplied cloth, did a cross pattern and only used a few drops at a time in the shade.
The air temp was less than ideal at 45* F so it went on a bit streaky and thick.
The entire piece took about 30 drops to treat.
I had to go back over it 2-3 times to really work it in.

I'm going to let it sit for 24 hours and then hit it with a hairdryer to see if it wants to pull back out of the surface (or maybe dive in since it might be too cold to optimally bind).

So far, so good!

Mirrors done.

I’m painfully aware anyone can get this if they rub baby oil on their trim. So time will tell if it’s actually effective.
