Can't figure out how to remove the connectors from the module.

There is just little tabs you need to press in and it will pull out. Use some caution though as the plastic gets brittle after years in the heat of the engine bay.

Two connectors. battery and to plugs.
There are bumps on the side of the battery connector. But they do not depress - Appear to be molded.

There is nothing that I can see on the connector to the plugs.

OK I got the connector that goes to the battery.

The connector that goes to the glow plugs has got me perplexed.
