No Oil Pressure

No Oil Pressure

Postby Longshore21 [OP] » Mar 23 2021, 7:59pm

Okay after an oil and filter change and a few trips around town I get a no oil PSI message on the DIC. After a little research I will try the sensor first. Where are these sensors? Easy to get to?
Thanks all!

By the time this post was approved I had replaced the sensor. Parts guy told me he sells 10 of these every month.

Just replaced my sensor yesterday after 0 oil pressure read and check engine light (fixed it), brother did it in his 2011 over the summer. Definitely a common issue.

Fairly easy to replace - my original post with instructions & pics:
Faulty Oil Sender Removal and Replacement

In my case I had erroneous readings vs zero pressure.
