Intake Manifold Cover

Intake Manifold Cover

Postby 11CCZ71 [OP] » Mar 03 2019, 6:38am

Has anyone removed the intake manifold cover? I tried tonight with little success. I removed the 4 bolts, 3 zip ties from the back wire run, and the coil wires. No luck! I couldn’t get the back to clear the actual manifold. Any help would be appreciated if someone has done it before.

I'm also interested in this. Also is the gasket reusable?

THe 4 bolt studs was all I had to remove when I pulled my intake and removed the blanket underneath.

I know this is an old thread, but for informations sake. The plastic cover over the intake is meant to be removed with the intake manifold. There's not enough clearance to remove it in the car.
