How did you swing that good of a deal? Was it GM incentives or do the dealers really have that much wiggle room?

That's really about average deal. If your not getting close to $10k off, your not doing too good.

I bought my 2017 in January of 2017, it's a crew cab short bed LT z71. It was stickered at $49k and I walked out paying in the neighborhood of $39k. I dont recall the exact number but it was right around there. Dealer came down to $42k without even asking and then the rest was done in the negotiations. That's after tax and all.

Looks like the web price at my local dealer after incentives on a 2018 Crew Cab LT All Star is 35k. 48.9k before incentives.

Yup. Welcome to gm inflated sticker prices. Which killed the used truck market.

Plus financing is typically better on new. Unless you have that cash laying around. Plus you can get exactly what you want. And you’ll know no other **** messed things up.

I didn’t want to. Too many people aren’t going to want the first year model of the 19s. So I think the 18s will sell fast
