i was just going to recommend that but is lew doing the direct injection custom tuning?

if you get an intake get a good enclosed box.

Definitely a diablosport intune (or trinity if you want live gauges and such). Lew is the man when it comes to tunes and customer service.

Then an intake. I recommend either a sealed box such as the Volant or the Cai brand ones, or a good high flow filter (I prefer dry) and the airaid MIT.

Then an exhaust to accompany the intake.

If I go with a new airvix like the volant will it work without the tuner or do you need the tuner when you drop in the new airbox

Nope, all three of the things I listed will work independent of each other. In fact, my father just put a Volant intake on his 2014 and the rest is stock.

Intune and Lew for sure. The stock intake flows plenty.
