03 Silverado Windshield Wipers

Weird thing happened with wipers

03 Silverado Windshield Wipers

Postby Jack52 [OP] » Dec 09 2011, 11:28pm

Has anyone else had this happen......A couple of days ago, I had the wipers on an intermediate speed. They started to swipe more than once. I changed speeds and they stayed on all the time. The only they would stop is when I shut the truck off. Then the next day when I went out to check them out, they were back to normal, working as they should. Any replies would be appreciated. Thank You. Jack

I've had the truck about a year. Only has 47,000 miles, Haven't had any other elec. problems. Man I hope it's not in the steering column,, I wouldn't want to take that apart. Airbag.....yikes

i problly would just monitor it and not worry about it too much unless it starts happening on a regular basis, could have been a fluke thing.

Ok Thanks for the replies guys. I will see if it happens again. I guess it's better than if they didn't work at all.
