I have 2 accessory or cigarette lighter outlets as you sit in the seat, the one on the right hand side is not working. My son put a wire in it, it sparked, and now it is dead. The one on the left still works. Now one would think the fuse blew. But each and every fuse has been pulled and tested with one of those metal prong testers with the light for a complete circuit and they all check out. They check out visibly as well. Is this outlets fuse located elsewhere or did he likely burn a wire in to? All the amp ratings on the fuses match what the diagram on the fuse panel cover says they should be. So you wouldn't think it could burn a wire. There is not smell or discoloration inside the outlet either. Thanks!

take the plastic dash cover off make sure the connector is bottomed out maybe use a volt meter across the wires ensure your getting 12v. the fuse is a failsafe shouldnt burn any wires i wouldn't think.

i wouldn't rely on a voltage tester light. definately id use a multimeter
