automatic door locks

Postby garysabo [OP] » Jan 16 2014, 5:21am

I have a 2005 Silverado. I went out after work and started the truck. Closed the door ans cleaned off snow. Helped a co-worker clean off their car. Returned to my truck to find the doors locked? I have had F-150's for the last 15 years so I'm not familiar with the Silverado yet. Is this supposed to happen?

id have to go check but I have an 05 and I think there are different options for the automatic door lock like, when cranked, at speed, etc etc... Mine is set to at speed.... I know that for sure... I was playing with those settings recently.

My 06 done this once before but I was at home. My locks are set to lock at 15mph I believe then unlock when I put it in park. I don't know if this was a fluke because I was messing with the door locks when I put my mirrors on with the key in the ignition and the would unlock immediately.
