How to AFM question

How to AFM question

Postby Kust3mz1988 [OP] » Jun 07 2021, 3:33am

Hey guys/gals new member from KY I recently picked up a 2014 gmc sierra 4x4 5.3 think it's the base model rubber floors no carpet and 4x4 in the floor.

My question is how do I know if the AFM has already been disabled my other trucks always had a indication that said V4 in the dash I'm not 100% sure if this truck even tells you when it switches any tips or ideas to find out?

When you are driving it will switch between V4 and V8 just look up a video of AFM working on the dash. If it does not do that then AFM has been disabled

I don't think this truck has it in the dash where it tells you it switches from v4 to v8

Read your owner's manual. It should tell you how to see the V4 info in the dash.
