Hey guys

So im in the process of putting a 634 shafiroff fuel injected BBC into my 08 2500hd silverado ext cab


So a bit of back ground on the truck it has been heavily modified up until this point and last things I need to finish it was the bbc currently the truck is sitting in 54" baja claws rockwell axles and full air ride 4 wheel steering 205 tcase black box list goes on

Originally I had a modified 6.0 motor bolted to a 6L90E but just recently blew that up so taking my 634 out of my other jeep and putting it in what I'm trying to pre plan a bit stuff like

-block hugger bbc headers if anyone has done it what are they using
-motor mounts are custom or kit?
-radiators -can I use the same or do I need to swap
-and the biggest one is the wiring of the truck

I bought a TCI 6x six transmission/torque converter that comes with stand alone controller and flex plate ill be running efi and using holleys terminator X ecu as well as the 12.3 holley dash pro

I'm hoping I can use my factory rad if possible and a clutch fan but if not electric will work too

I'm looking to see if anyone has put a big block in a 07.5-2010 nnbs silverado before that can help ot even some ppl that have experience with stock bcm my goal it to keep it factory looking and all my hvac buttom working in the cab I want to ac /heater to function as normal blinkers even the tip tronic shifter on factory column shifter i know anything can be done its just takes some messing around

Lol nope trying to find some people that have put an big block into the nnbs silverado im trying to pre plan before I get started mainly getting the BCM and all the stuff inside truck working like normal

On this site specifically I think you may be the 2nd one ive seen in several years.

You would likely find more help in a group on facebook that I have seen called "built not bought 4x4 fabrication off road community"

Whoa! Interesting project, for sure. But yeah, like Bradley said, I don't think I've seen too many such projects around here. All projects here seem to be a bit milder. Keep us updated on the progress, though. Seeing a video of it in action once finished would be cool.

i think most of us with late model trucks are prevented by emissions rules from doing this, so we tend to do a bbc swap into something older. i have a 72 k10 powered by a little pipsqueak 396, but it never crossed my mind to put a bbc in my 2500HD!
