I'm looking for the door molding (I think it's called a "side belt") for the rear passenger door of an 08 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4dr. My body guy isn't great at searching the interwebz for parts and junkyards don't want to sell it without buying the whole door. Mine is a solid color - no chrome strip. Anyone know where I can find one (for a decent price), or does anyone have one that I could buy and ship?? Color doesn't matter because it will be painted. Thanks!!

They are super expensive for what they are honestly. If I were you and there is no fading in the paint I would take the remaining molding off and give it a clean look.

My Buddy did this with his Silverado. The molding was looking rough. looked like mold or mildew got under the clear coat. Pulled them off and rubbed off the adhesive and made the truck look 10 times better.

I got hit on my passenger side and did the repair work myself. I had to replace the rear passenger door and didn't notice the molding was different. Anyways I found this on ebay and it worked great. I replaced both on the passenger side. And as others have said paint underneath was not in good condition.

You should be able to find the right color for your truck.

Thanks so much for the info!! Got one that will work...will just need to be painted. I don't hate the look of the moldings, but I will be considering deleting them in the future.
