High Beam Aim?

High Beam Aim?

Postby 2009silvderadodb [OP] » Nov 21 2020, 12:39am

Okay so I have a 2009 Silverado, I bought beautiful lumen head lights, bought new zxe h1 for them. Looks great only problem is they get decently hot, and my driver side high beam, is lower then my low beam. While my passenger side high beam is perfect where it should be.

Aim them. Should be pretty easy if you know one is perfect now.

I did aim them the low beams are set perfectly however the high beam is under where the low beam points. But the passenger side is perfect low beam sets the same as the other low beam and the high beam sets a bit higher.
Best way I can show you is the / is the low beam and the - is the high beam light

When it should set like this

Ahh ok, it's one of those deals. No idea then, I have 1 set of headlights that use 1 bulb per headlight.

I’m at a loss on what to do which sucks because they are beautiful head lights, what I heard was the bulb could be bent or adjust wrong somehow.

Sounds like one may defective. You can check and make sure you screwed the bulb in straight and completely.
Got a link to them? Have you contacted who you bought them from?

The left high beam should be aimed at the face of the oncoming driver. This way when some jackwagon is driving at you with his on, you can throw yours on and return the favor.

Hahaha I wish that were true then I wouldn’t worry about it, but I’ve spent too much on these to let them sit like that lol
