rear window trim 05 silverado

the rear window trim is deteriorating on my truck, that is the rubber surrounding the window at the back of the cab, not the side windows. is this an easily replaceable thing? or do you have to remove/replace the entire window to get to it?

The window would need to be pulled to replace it. The rubber is what holds the window in the channel. You could contact an auto glass company to get a price to change it out for you...but if it is not leaking...may not be necessary. Got a picture of how bad it looks?

The stock rear windows on these trucks are glued to the body with urethane, they haven't used a rubber channel to hold them in for years.

maybe i am not explaining myself correctly. there is a rubber border going around the entirety of the rear cab window, it seems to be made of rubber and is deteriorating
