Switching front bumper for air intake bumper

Switching front bumper for air intake bumper

Postby stylinbeaver [OP] » Jan 22 2017, 10:07pm

I have a 2009 silverado ltz. My front bumper doesn't have the center air intake hole that everybody is mounting light bars in. I was curious what year silverado or trim model came with the air intake hole?

Does yours have the 6 speed or 4 speed trans?

To the best of my knowledge, all the trucks 2009 and newer came with that cutout. All the ones I've seen have anyway. And the 2007 and 2008 trucks had the solid front bumper.

Yours must be an early year 2009. But like said 09-13 bumpers had them. They bolt right up, installed a 2013 bumper with the slot on my 08

Yes. You can buy just that unpack bar and install it onto your bumper if you want
