Installed body lift now passenger side headlights aren’t wor

Postby broyal [OP] » Sep 11 2020, 3:13pm

2003 Silverado 4.8 2wd single cab long bed work truck manual windows totally boring etc

Just put on a 2” zone body lift and now my passenger side headlights aren’t working. It’s all LED and at first I think the turn signal had hyper flash /front turn signal not working (before lift kit). Now hi/low/drl/turn etc nothing is working. I have checked fuses under the hood and the ones inside the driver door don’t seem to have anything to do with the head lamps but I’ll look into it more.

Any help on this would be appreciated!

Maybe you pulled a wiring harness too tight and tore it and/or a connector or ground has come loose?
Have you checked the obvious? Power at the bulb sockets?

My first thought would be that a ground was torn or disturbed.

You jacked the body up too high on that side and your probably broke a connector. Just start tracing wires

It was only a 2” lift and I didn’t go any higher than I needed to just fit the pucks in but you could be right. I’ll start looking. Thanks.

I left a ground not tightened down.

Glad to hear that you figured out the issue, and it was a simple ground.
