Thinking about new headlights on 2015 Silverado

Postby s_oversen71 [OP] » Jul 10 2019, 12:50am

Thinking about new headlights for my 2015 Silverado. Has anyone tried these, any thoughts? Any recommendations on any other aftermarket lights? I am looking to replace the entire assembly, not just new bulbs.

Thanks,

Sean

Bought some on EBay...they were cheap...about $150 for the pair, because I wanted clear marker lenses with switchback bulbs...Short story...they sucked. Didn't reflect the headlamp bulbs properly, and couldn't adjust them. I actually recycled them. Never heard back from vendor. Apparently Carid is more reliable.

I wouldn't do it. Your oem headlights are much better quality.

Did you buy the same ones I am looking at, or were they something else? I know there are good aftermarket headlights out there, just wondering if anyone has any info on these or any recommendations on other ones that they have had good luck with.... I don't really care for the appearance of the front end of my truck....Too much chrome, so I want to change the grill and headlights. Black color-matched grill, and lights with no chrome...

Almost all aftermarket headlights are junk and have subpar light output over stock. Your best bet is to retro fit your oem lights

If you just want the chrome gone, paint it or vinyl it, just please don't use plastidip
