Some of us were not members back in 2013 and since the search function is not to helpful sometimes, useful ones like this would be missed by some. If old post revivals bother you that much don't read them and make it worse by responding about how old the thread is.

An archived thread can always be viewed...and to think this is the only site you could find this instruction on means you need better instructions on using Google.

But carry on with the revivals...

Thank you for this post.. I was nervous to just start pulling my panel apart but the pictures and description was really reassuring and now everything works perfectly. I just cleaned the contacts instead of replacing the module but still awesome post.ImageImageImageImage

im glad to see this is a common problem....My 2010 GMC Sierra master switch is slowly dying window by window. It started with my rear passenger window not working, after the switch stopped working completely from my front driver master switch, the front passenger window no longer works.....

But when I started researching what I needed to replace, I thought the entire master switch panel had to be replaced( meaning the power door lock switch, window lock switch, and the window buttons and circle/mirror switch...I did not realize I could buy just the window module (which is the only thing that does not work)....

Because the entire master switch panel prices are like $100+ compared to $34.

Had a similar problem but found how to videos on youtube that instruct to clean the contacts inside the switch using alcohol. Problem though is now the auto window down doesnt work. On Acuras you had to hold the switch down until it clicked then back up. Not working on my 2010. Any suggestions?
