Back for more

Hi Everyone, Well I managed to get at the plugs that are in the Brake Controller and AC outlet holes and I made an interesting discovery. There are wired connectors at both the controller and AC outlet holes. Is it possible to get the brake controller and AC outlet and plug them in? Does the BCU need to be reprogrammed to accept these options? If so, is there a non dealer option for getting that done?

Thanks in advance.

Probably can't do either. They just use the same harnesses in multiple trim levels.
The factory brake controller requires additional components that are not installed and/or cannot be, and programming thru the BCM. Likewise for the AC plug.
Get yourself a Tekonsha Prodigy 3, along with the patch cable specific to the truck that plugs in under the dash, (provision in electrical junction box,) and you're basically plug and play.

GM 19330154 will plug right-in for a brake controller.
I've had this in my wife's 2015 1500 since day 1.

EDIT: Just noted OPs vehicle is a 2019, this may not work.

I have received the tekonsha cable (GM gave me a connector with just wires), and I have put the P3 on my Christmas list.
