hello everyone a big hello I am new to the forum and I want to thank so much information I spend hours watching the forum
now i have a question
today I changed the cluster of my silverado 2009 for one of 6 clocks and now the stabilyti light does not turn on when I press the button I think it is a problem because if I accidentally deactivate the stablilyty I will not realize that the new cluster is damaged

you still have the old one? try putting back in see what happens. the 6 gauge pod most likely has the wrong software on it.

I believe the new cluster will have to be flashed to your ECM to make it work properly.

Yeah the one you got probably doesn't have the stabilitrak software on it someone with a tech2 can flash it but you would need the vin of a truck with with that software on it. you cant use your vin or it would end up with the 4 gauge software. they will plug in play with the right software.

Edit: they don't have to be flashed to work and the ECM isn't the issue. Its the clusters firmware.
