Instrument Cluster **** itself last night

Instrument Cluster **** itself last night

Postby joe77 [OP] » Jan 10 2020, 8:08pm

Well hello boys and girls,

Lets get right into it shall we! Here's the timeline of this gripe-

(climate has been nice as I'm in New Orleans so colds not an issue)

- a few weeks back I noticed the instrument cluster on my 2014 High Country would flicker on and off right when I started up before normalizing. Gripe did not return during normal operation

-a bit of trouble shooting over the subsequent days revealed that it only happened if my phones Bluetooth was on and was attempting to connect as power was turned on.

-last night soon as I turned my car on the warning lights (the usual ones you see at start up) illuminated and shut off as usual but nothing else on my instrument cluster worked. The gas light was on but that was because of low gas. Speedomete, mini info screen in the middle, odometer, rpms, oil etc. provided no reading.

Everything else works MINUS the Bluetooth wont connect. Phone shows "Chevrolet My link" as connected but truck doesn't read the phone.

NO IDEA how there correlated, possibly a computer malfunction, common ground is loose?

Checked every fuse. All good (Minus the Ac inverter that I burned out a few weeks ago when I hooked up a vacuum).

I need help. WHadda ya think?
