Hi Guys,

I have an Android 10 head unit (HU) that I am connecting my iPhone 6S (latest update) to with the USB power cable and WiFi for the HU hot spot.

Two problems.

1. when a call comes in the HU changes to the phone app and allows me to answer it. The person calling can hear me fine but I can not hear them. I must open the phone, select the speaker button (it has the connected symbol on it), it now pulls up a list of speaker options. I select the HU and in 15 seconds I can hear the caller.

This is a huge pain in the butt while I am driving. How do I set this up correctly?

2. When making a call from the HU it dials out fine but they cannot hear me at all, I hear them fine.

If it's an ANDROID head unit, it more than likely will not work properly with an iPhone. 2 completely different operating systems. The head unit has to have the firmware and software for both...........

^^^^ this. Plus an iPhone 6 is quite old in terms of technology. Maybe a newer phone would connect better?

Yes, the hardware is older but it runs the newest ISO Apple has. It will do all the same functions just slower.
