Shark fin antenna

Does this look normal that there is a gap in the seal or trim piece under the antenna? I was looking for pics of other trucks but haven’t saw any close ups to see. It’s on a 2018 Silverado 1500.

That rubber gasket on the inside is designed to funnel water out that little slot in the front if it does get in there. But yours does seem to be raised a bit in the front. Unless you are getting water in the headliner, I wouldn't mess with it, but if you need or want to tighten it, you will have to pull down that corner of the head liner. I had to replace my shark fin a few years ago and it isn't that big of a deal.

Thanks guys. I haven’t noticed any water coming in yet but it’s still under warranty so I wanted to make sure it’s normal.

jjs: It is all pooling up in your headliner. One hard break check and you will have 6 years worth of water pouring out on your head.
