Hi everyone!
Just rolled in. Just purchased a new 2020 1500 Sierra Denali with darn near all the fixin's on May 29th. 4x4 with 6.2L. Dark Sky Metallic with walnut/ash interior. Denali Ultimate package, floor liners, and lockable console storage and rear seat storage as "options". Took advantage of the big sale they were having along with the GM employee discount. Managed to save almost $14K in cash back and discounts. This put a new one within a couple grand more than a 2019 used one on average around here.
Today marks 10 years to the day that I bought a new 2010 GMC Sierra SLE Crew Cab 5.3L 2WD at the same dealership. I traded it in for this truck. Just turned 66,100 miles on it. It was a great truck. No drivetrain issues ever, but had a couple little issues, like a leaky master cylinder into the booster, which I replaced both last year. Also had the dreaded dash crack issue. I took the dash out and plastic welded it from behind once, but then it cracked again, although it was near the repair area. Repair area held but the rest of the dash couldn't be helped. And I even had a dashmat cover on it to help protect it.
So far I've purchased a bedmat from Bedrug. It was an easy peasy install. I ordered up a few GM accessories for it as well, such as GMC puddle lights, multipro tailgate LED lamp kit, a rubber seal for the tailgate to bed, and some pre-painted body color fender flares. I also plan on adding some 2018 thin, painted door side molding and painting them to match the body color to help protect the door body break lines from door dings, and once I decide on what kind of bed cover would be best, probably order up one of those soon. About the only other mod I would do to it is some clear bra material on the front bumper, front of the hood and top of the tailgate area painted surfaces.
It's probably going to be my last new truck I'll ever buy so I decided to roll big on it.
