New Sierra owner

Postby travelin'Z71 [OP] » Dec 18 2010, 7:11pm

Hello everyone, Just bought an '09 Sierra c/c Z71 in stealth grey.
I've always been a Chevy/GMC guy, my family is all the same. I grew up in Dad's garage building small blocks and big blocks for race cars and tow rigs.
In addition to the '09 I also have the following GMs;

2003 Suburban Z71 - 5.3 4x4 Summit White.
1991 Suburban 2500 - 454 2wd Bright Red.
2006 Pontiac G6 V6 - Silver
1971 Chevelle - 502, 4spd Metallic Green

I am in demolition and travel all the time on and off-road so it'll be put through the ringer, I'm looking forward to adding some thing to boost durability, off-road traction, and functionality.

Traded in my '01 Silverado ext. cab Z71 5.3 with a low 281,000 miles on the clock.. good truck but I was starting to get allot of valvetrain noise and decided she wasn't dependable enough any more.

I'll post some pics soon, The weather has not been friendly and I haven't had a chance to clean it up.

Welcome!
I love knowing these things still run well, even at 281k on the odometer.
Looking forward to the pics!
