Hey all,
much like all the R** guys putting 4th gen bumpers on their 2nd gens I want to see if this is possible with a 15+ GMC bumper on a 04 Rado. It looks like it would follow the body lines pretty good.

Hmm... I don't see that happening. I could be wrong though.

Anything is possible with enough will power.

It almost looks like the Sierra bumper may be closer to fitting the grill/lights better.

I think the sierra has too much of a dip but it could be possible to shave the parts of the bumper underneath the headlights to close that gap. It might work but it might also look terrible lol.

I'd certainly try it if it would look good.

I used MS paint and did something real quick. The rado bumper doesn't work period but the sierra bumper might if its shaved at the top.

Just the 15 bumper. This isn't taking measurements into account either so there could be more or less gap than this.

The 15 bumper with the upper portion that sits under the headlights shaved a bit. I think it looks pretty good honestly.

Can we get someone with a 2015 GMC sierra 2500HD to take some measurements for me? I want to know the grille width to see how much of a gap I would have.

I looked up the dimensions, a 2004 silverado is 80" wide and a 2015 sierra is 80-81" wide so the bumper should fit and not overlap the body and look wonky. I think the hardest part is going to be shaving the upper bumper caps to fit.
