Not sure where to go next, but here is the issue and what I have done so far.
When I plug a trailer in (have tried 3 trailers that all work on other truck) nothing comes on the display as far as gain or trailer connected. All lights ect work on trailers.

Going down the road and stopping at a stop sign I can not feel the trailer brakes assisting slowing down. But after completely stopping and holding the trailer brake lever over it will hold me at a stop on flat ground. Releasing the lever and letting it roll forward a bit and then sliding the lever over again will slow and stop the truck and trailer. So yes the trailer brakes are working, but not strong or registering on the display. So without it on the display I can not turn up the gain to get better brakes on the trailer.

I have replaced the trailer brake ecm and relay above the spare with no different results. The trailer brakes still work very weak and still don't display anything.

Any help on where to go next would be greatly appreciated.

Ok now I have checked the DIC and see nothing for trailer brakes. Replaced the plug in on the bumper, the dash slide switch, brake switch on the pedal, and for good measure the tail light junction box. Along with already changing the trailer brake ecm and relay I am not sure what else to check or change. I still have trailer brakes just not very good and still nothing on the DIC to adjust or register that the trailer is plugged in.
