1999 2wd 3" lift spindles

1999 2wd 3" lift spindles

Postby '99silverado421 [OP] » Feb 22 2015, 3:04am

I have a 1999 2wd Silverado rcsb with the 4.8L that I want to lift. I want to run OE Wheels llc reproduction 22x9 wheels and 33x12.50 atturo trailblade mt. I was hoping I could run them using 3" lift spindles without terrible rubbing problems. Is this possible? Or will I need to go with a bigger lift? The offset is 31 millimeters, the backspace 6.22 inches on the wheels.

This is my 2004 2wd Silverado with a 3 inch spindle in the front and a 1 1/4 block in the rear and im running a 265/65/17 I could go a little bigger but theres no way 33's would fit. You might want to look at CST 4inch 2wd drive lift kit will fit 33's or maybe do the spindle and a 1 or 2inch spacer.

Do you think the 33x12.50 would fit with factory 22x9 with the 3" spimdle and a 2" spacer then? What size lift shocks would i need?

Would 2" lift springs be a better option?

I would stick with the spindles and maybe just do a 1 or 2 inch spacer, I went with fox 2.0 shocks but you can do bilsteins or any other brand that you prefer. If you call fox,Bilstein and tell them what your doing they will be able to hook you up with the right length shocks.
