Ok yall convinced me on blisteins except for 1 thing. If i need to get new coil springs i have to go with something else. I know its impossible for you guys to know if my springs are still ok, but do you think they will be fine to reuse at 220000 miles? If not then ill just go with kyb or ac delco so i get the whole new assembly.

The springs should be fine. They really don't wear out. Just a warning...the Bilsteins are a bit stiff. I have them now and plan to switch to the Rancho's I mentioned earlier because of this. If you prefer a stiffer ride that corners better...then the bilstein are for you. If you want to go over sharp bumps and not feel them in your teeth...you may want a softer shock. Smoother bumps are no problem...but the harsher ones the bilstein just dont perform like I would prefer.

Ok, so last question. Would you recommend blistein for dirt mountain roads that are bumpy as [email protected]@? When i go hunting the roads suck. Thats the main reason for me getting the new socks. Or is it just preference?

I hope they work out for you. I suspect you will like them. Next step up will be some $1000-$2500 high end coilovers.

I just noticed that you have 223,000 miles. I think you'll be quite happy with any new shocks. I'm sure those Rancho's will be a huge improvement over what you currently have. You can try the Bilsteins next time you change your shocks at 446,000 miles, LOL!! Let us know how those Rancho's feel after the install!

Wish I would have seen this before, I looked at the Rancho and decided on the Eibach set that includes the front spring and all 4 shocks. about a 2 1/4” lift in the front, the ride is so much better and controlled. From what I could find the springs are Eibach and the shocks are Bilstein. Very happy with the change and only had 14k on the truck. $560 for everything.
