Well, i dont really wanna go with an all out lift. i think i can get what i want with just torsion keys (im just looking to clear a 285 cleanly with no rubbing AT ALL). just want yalls opinions on them. so lemme have it, the good, the bad, and what brands to check out! Thanks!

You turn up your torsion bars you will throw off your steering geometry. Meaning the top off your tire will be farther in than the bottom. You will wear out tires very fast, also the truck will not be very stable. Fork out the money or you or someone else may get hurt.

not cranking up the torsion bars, getting the replacement torsion keys, and an alignment. i have in the past, turned up the torsion bars, and had no issues, but that is not my intent here. i just dont want to go as big as a suspension lift. i only want an inch maybe 2

keys sound like your best bet i put a add-a-leaf on and then i just had to get keys love the height just right to me

I just installed the Ready lift torsion keys on my 2004 5.3L 4x4 Z71 Sierra.

First, @ agent fawk -- love the color of your truck, my silverado is the same color along with nerf bars, never seen that color before on a truck.

Second, @ michiganredneck go with the keys and alignment, my buddy has a rough country kit on his 04 Z71 and it looks good plus he can clear 33's easily.

I am also looking at getting keys to level my front, I just don't know where to look for what color keys I have factory. I can't see any color marks on my keys. I have a 04 2500HD 6.0L 4x4. Any thoughts?

i have torsion keys on my 02 silverado z71 and it looks good but the truck rides way rougher. thats my only complaint, other than that they look real good.
