I'm at quite a lose trying to determine the cause for poor performance I seem to be getting on my '06 4.3l V6 I recently swapped into an '05 1500 Silverado.
Symptoms: I'm seeing are a slight roughness in the idle, bounces +/- 20-40 rpm, but otherwise idles around the target RPM...
So i have 2002 Chevy 1500 extended cab that has a really nice body for being up where they use salt and is lifted but the motor and trans are weak, and i also have a rolled 2003 Chevy 2500hd crew cab with the 6.0 and 4l80e that i know run really good and both the tranny and motor are low miles...
Hey all was looking for insight on a sas for my '13 Silverado has anyone done one yet? I have a set of dana 60’s from an old project that have been sitting I’m just looking for pros and cons or snags I might encounter.
I have an 09 duramax and I know you can put a 2017 front bumper on it but I can’t get my hands on any. Although there is a 2020 front bumper from a high county that I think would look pretty sweet appreciate any help thanks
Did v6 to v8 swap. Had dealer program v8 file into original v6 ecu. Now engine cranks but doesn’t start. And has these codes. P16A1 P0097 P00F4 P0113. Any ideas? Freeze frame shows -40 on iat. Tried the one off my 2015 Denali still didn’t get it to start
So I just purchased a low mile LY6 6.0 to drop in my 2012 GMC Sierra and was wondering what all I will need to complete the swap. I’m currently running a miled out 5.3 vortec with the dreaded afm/dod and vvt. Will it be a direct swap? Will I need to mess with any vvt? Please help! Thanks guys.
I from south american and here we don't have sierra so I find a guy that fitted grills and lights from a Denali into a Silverado but I don’t know how.
Does any one here had made this swap?
