Dad's Old Truck

Postby apayne7388 [OP] » Oct 16 2020, 3:15pm

My dad had a 1996 Silverado 2500HD when I was a kid. He passed away when I was only 14 and I've been thinking about him a lot recently and all the great times we had with that old truck. It was traded in to Salvadore Chevrolet in Barre MA in 2005, that dealership has since closed and is based out of Gardner MA. Two tone silver and teal, extended cab, long bed, had a 5 speed manual transmission and a 350 under the hood. Passenger side had a pretty good dent in it from a deer. As far as I know, he originally purchased it in 1995/1996 from Salvadore Chevrolet in Gardner MA. I'm pretty sure the plate number was 45TH07, but not 100% sure on that, that's plate that was on it when we traded the truck in for my first vehicle. Any information would be great on it. PM me if you have any info.
Thanks in advance,

Adam

I completely understand what you're wanting to do. My dad died when I was a little kid. I tried for several years to find one of his T-Birds ('59, '61, '63) but never did. I even had two of the VIN's. Good luck.

That’s the problem, I don’t have anything aside from the last registered plate number for it. Idk if there’s an easy way to find the vin using that.

Reach out to the DMV with that plate number. They might be able to get the VIN.
